Our "Songs from the Musicals" is a unique extravaganza capturing the magic of the theatre through song.
The Pocket Playhouse Company will send you back in time to the glamorous, golden era of 1950s Las Vegas, when Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Junior and Dean Martin joined forces and become the hottest ticket in town at the famous Sands Hotel.
WHO WE ARE
Born and raised in Leicestershire - Steph started dancing from as early as 3 years old. Her passion for the arts continue and she went on to study musical theatre at university obtaining her degree several years ago. Now teaching song & dance she is all set for her and future within the musicality world and her role in The Pocket Playhouse performers.
Ian cut his performing teeth working on holiday parks and cruise liners before discovering the love of the theatre stage. His since then theatre work includes him playing in the west end production as Don Lockwood in “Singing In The Rain”, Scarecrow in “The Wizard Of Oz” and Lord Evelyn in “Anything Goes” He also played Frank Sinatra on the national tour of “Strictly Swing”.
Originally from the North-East, Neil along side Ant & Dec appeared in five series of the BAFTA award winning kids TV show Byker Grove. Since then he has appeared in numerous musicals during his career. In 2017 Neil was asked by BBC Leicester, to appear in their 50th Anniversary Show at De Montfort Hall.
Lucy's passion is singing and performing in the world of Musical Theatre since she took to the stage from a young age. After completing her studies and achieving a Diploma in Musical Theatre continued her passion for performing within a theatre group performing roles such as Swallow in Whistle Down The Wind and most recently Joanna in Sweeney Todd. Lucy also performs frequently within her own children's entertainment business where she can bring alive characters for joy of all!
Ewan began performing at school and quickly developed a passion for Musical Theatre. Between the days teaching English, and evenings with his beautiful family he enjoys a chance to escape into music. His previous roles include Marius in Les Mis, Curly in Oklahoma, the Man in Whistle Down the Wind and Anthony in Sweeney Todd. He looks forward to performing a selection of his favourite songs with The Pocket Playhouse
